Black History Studies website to be archived by the British Library

Greetings

The Black History Studies www.blackhistorystudies.com and the website for our book Before The Slave Trade: African World History in Pictures www.beforetheslavetrade.com have been selected to participate in the British Library‘s web archiving programme.

The British Library selects and archive sites to represent aspects of UK documentary heritage and as a result, they will remain available to researchers in the future. The British Library works closely with leading UK institutions to collect and permanently preserve the UK web, and the archive can be seen at http://www.webarchive.org.uk/.

The benefits to us in having our websites archived by the British Library is that we will have a historical record of our websites for use by future generations.
